Dharwad Witnesses Another Murder, Marking the Fourth in Four Days

Dharwad, known for its educational institutions, has witnessed yet another murder. In the past three days, the city has been shaken by three murders, and the latest incident occurred around 12:15 am on Wednesday at the residence of the owner of Vimal Hotel near Sangam Circle, Bhovi Oni, within the jurisdiction of the Town Police Station.

According to the police, Kannayeppa, a 37-year-old supplier at Vimal Hotel and a resident of Tamil Nadu, allegedly killed Fakkiresh Malleppa Pyati, a 40-year-old Tandoori cook working at the hotel. Pyati hailed from Suganahalli village in Shirahatti taluk, Gadag district. The police are still working to determine the motive behind the murder. Town Police have registered a case, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
